Spice Girls Mel "Scary" B. and Emma "Baby" Bunton have been bitten by the acting bug.
Scary told a reporter at the Glamour magazine Women of the Year awards in London on Wednesday that she's been offered a part in Legally Blonde on Broadway.
So fun!
Mel's a little old to play a college girl, so we're assuming we'll see her as the beauty salon worker Elle befriends.
She also revealed that she's working on a sitcom AND planning to launch her clothing line on Project Runway.
Busy, busy!
Baby Spice told the media at the London event, "I'm really looking forward to doing some acting – a TV drama, maybe something a bit gritty."
Wouldn't it be interesting to see Baby all broody and cracked out?

Mel B had good reviews when she was in RENT on Broadway also got good reviews when she appeared in a BBC3 series 'Burn It'. I think she would do well in Legally Blonde. Besides she is doing new music which would take up a lot of her time. Can't wait to hear it.
Emma Bunton trained as an actress when younger so I expect goo dthinsg to come from her too.

i saw mel in rent in nyc a few years back, and she wasn't half bad! she maybe didn't have the vocal range that was required for the role but her acting was great…she fit in with all the others up on stage.

It would be interesting but Emma should start with something lighter and get some experience before she jumps to drama. She'd be cute in a romantic or sex comedy (ala Sex in the City but not a rip off just similar themes).
