With the recent news of Barack Obama winning enough delegates to get the Democratic Presidential nomination confirmed, several people are now starting to speak out.
One of those is big Obama supporter Oprah Winfrey.
Luckily for O, her first public political endorsement turned out better than expected.
For a while, it seemed that her non-stop endorsement of Obama was starting to hurt her ratings and appeal.
In a recent statement Winfrey says, "I'm euphoric, I've been doing the happy dance all day. I'm so proud of Barack and Michelle Obama and what this means for all of us … the new possibilities for our country. And if he wants me to, I'm ready to go door to door."
We can't help but wonder what Oprah looks like doing her happy dance.
It probably involves Gayle doing booty shakes with her and lots of Oreo cookies!

I like McCain, even though I'm a Democrat. I like him for speaking his mind, for not always agreeing with the party line, for working with Democrats, for speaking out against Guantanamo Bay, for serving his country in Vietnam and doing something constructive with his experience…
I don't agree with everything he says, but I don't buy the Bush III argument and I don't think I ever will. I don't even think Bush I was that bad.
I may just support McCain during this election. Hillary was my candidate of choice, but I happen to think there are several good ways to lead a country, so I prefer my vote to go to someone of proven competence. I see McCain as a very competent Senator and I think he will likely do a good job. Obama has yet to prove to me that he's done anything worth while except give a nice speech. The "change"-argument would be a lot more powerful if he had ever done anything remotely change-like. Instead, he's done the exact opposite. His Chicago-politics of the past just reek of 'old politics'. Ironically, Hillary was the only one representing a TRUE change: universal health care. But I guess that was not abstract enough for these hopey-dopey Obama-fans…
But if Obama takess Hillary as his VP and uses her health care plan, I might just support him anyway…Otherwise, it'll likely be McCain for me…
