I have read, though can't confirm it's true, that Charlie's soon to be ex wife knows that he is a cheater and has caught him cheating and has been told by Charlie to accept it. If true, this woman motives are pretty clear, especially getting knocked up as quickly as she did. These two really do deserve each other!

Okay, this is ONLY my two-cents, and its very cynical — this is not the first time a Hollywood "Bad Boy" has originally married a beautiful women who was somewhat on his level, only to have a failed marriage and end up with some "no-body from no-where-ville" not even close to the looks of original wife.
My point being - I think Charlie is probably difficult to live with — but for "new-wife-who-is-she?" — she's willing to put up with it. Likely more submissive and this is far and away the best she'll ever score.
