This is smart!

Beyonce's little sister, Solange, is coming out with a new album, and the first single, I Decided, is unlike anything the elder Knowles has done.

And, it's very different from everything else on the radio right now.

Smart!

I Decided is a slow to mid-tempo jam reminiscent of the girl group Motown era, and the video for the single reflects that very well.

It's cool, chill-out music for the summer. Something to listen to by the pool!

    The song is awful. Not something I could stand to listen to for more than a few seconds and I didn't. As for the style, am I the only one who thinks it's totally ripping off Amy Winehouse? And not very well I might add.

    no, it doesn't sound like Amy Winehouse (did you even listen to it??). yes, it is SO much better than ANY beyonce song (pick any one cuz they all sound the same). she basically has beyonce's vocal range without that annoying shrieking cat sound.

    I don't think her voice is smooth enough to handle this song. And the piano doesn't blend into the song well. It just goes "DON'T LISTEN TO HER VOICE. LISTEN TO THIS PINGING NOISE IN THE BACKGROUND." And I agree that it's too repetitive to be this long.

    check Solange out, trying to be the drug-free Amy Winehouse… I already like it better than anything Beyonce has done… it's more original. Also, her voice isn't as annoying (nasaly) as Beyonce's.
