Alba's poppa is Mexican and Cashole Warren's daddy is African American. Her hope is that the dads "see themselves" in the little babe.

She's so pretty. It doesn't matter what color your babies skin is - as long as they are healthy. My friend's first kids have very olive skin, like their Spanish father. They tan so beautifully. When he passed away, she remarried and had very light skinned children. Interestingly - they tan just as well! It's irrelevant. The main thing is to give kids a lot of love = high self-esteem!

I think the fascination of why she doesn't acknowledge her latino side is because she's dark, and obviously Latina. If she looked like Cameron Diaz, she wouldn't have to prove a thing. Cameron Diaz and Mariah Carey are two mixes who can pass as white, and aren't as obligated to prove their ethnic side the way Halle or Jessica. I think Perez is being unfair to her.
