You haven't "done your part" - you have forced people to come out when they weren't ready to. Its a personal and private choice, no-one should be forced to reveal their sexuality. Believe me, it is not something you should be proud of.

Done your part? You totally took the idea from the ABC news article!! They had the story out 3 days before "you" decided to steal it and try to make it your own. God Mario, I'm gay and I don't see one damn thing you are doing to "help" the cause. You out those who don't wish to be out and you think you are doing your part for our community eh? You don't support Gays, you exploit Gays. You are not doing any of us any justice.

I don't see why everyone has trouble with gays!!! They should've ALWAYS had the same rights as everyone else!

There have been gays in hollywood for many many years but only now are they starting to come out more.
I don't think it should really matter whether a person is gay or not in their career. People need to leave people alone over their orientation. If the media acts like it's a big deal then it will be.

Whether there are gay people in hollywood or not. Gay people all over the world are doing their part as well as straight people who are supportive and also trying to get the message out.

Mario, you haven't done squat. Everyone knew you were gay the moment you came out your queer mother's vajayjay. You've pretty much reported news posted elsewhere on the internet that force celebs out the closet. You haven't done jack so once again don't take credit for it.

You are not doing anything positive or helpful. More than anything, you're reinforcing negative stereotypes about odd dressing, gossiping, bitter gay men that tear others down to make up for insecurities. Oh, and you're also not a part of "hollywood." That's why you never made it as an actor….

gays do have the same basic human rights as everyone else. There are no laws keeping gays from expressing their love for someone else. Sure, they aren't able to get married yet, but how does that impede one gay showing his love for his partner? The reality it doesn't. It's a hallow argument by gays to further try to legitimize behavior that isn't normal. Sorry, homosexuality is not a normal biological survival behavior. It does appear in nature but so do 6 toes and blindness.

As for Hollyweird, if Gays really really want equality, they would then out all of those big male Scientology stars that crave the cock more than the cooch.

And besides, look at the actors that are out in the open. Most of them are not big stars but peripheral players.

You've hardly "done your part" by outing people in public who weren't ready to tell others about their sexuality. Its not easy for everyone to reveal something that is so very personal and let it become public knowledge. If you had any respect for the cause at all then you'd keep your mouth shut and let people come out when they want to.

Gays and Jews have been running Holly wood for a long long time.
The Gay Mafia hires its own. Remember Barry Diller and the start up of FOX. He hired 21 year old gay work a holics and made them VP's.
Just walk the Halls of E! you cant swing a dead yorkie without hitting a gay Executive and or receptionist. No big deal. Nothing new.

Ahh to be Jewish and Gay with talent.

"Film and TV fans are more likely to warm to a lesbian actress than a gay actor, the experts said. Women are less likely to feel threatened by a lesbian woman. Some men see them as sexy, and gay men as challenging their own sexuality"

I would like to know how exactly one goes about gathering such information?
This is most ridiculously horrible quote and should not have been included in what was otherwise a well-researched editorial. I cannot at all fathom why
ANYONE cares if someone is gay/straight/whatever.
    Grow up America!

    20

Oh STFU, Perez. You haven't "done your part" - you have forced people to come out when they weren't ready to, as well as accused any and everyone of being gay if they're caught in a particular pose/with a particular expression on their face.

You're gay & you're proud of that, we get that, OK? But STOP trying to paint everyone as gay or endlessly badgering others to come out because you believe they are gay.

YOU HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY OF THIS YOU FOOL! FAGS WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE LONG BEFORE ANYONE EVEN KNEW YOU EXISTED.

    23

    Perez,
You may have done your part by being out and living loud and free, but you know darn well that you do a lot of lesbian judging and bashing. You really do and it's quite hypocritical and needs to stop, please.

  24. PoeEdg says – reply to this

    24

Perez, I love this site .. it always makes me laugh, but please don't congratulate yourself too much for "doing your part". You actually seem to exploit and belittle gays every single day!
I always find myself wondering what happened to make you so bitter and so driven to demean gay people.
By the way, I am straight, and happen to be in a traditional marriage. I am always shocked that you actually seem to be a detriment to the struggle for gay acceptance and gay equality. It confuses me!

    25

Perez, just a few words of advice - - - it's really time to do a reality check and maybe come back down to earth. I started visiting your site a few years ago and really enjoyed it then. However, your ego has gotten so huge over the past year or so that it has gotten to the point that I very rarely check your site anymore. And when I do, what do I see? YOU taking credit for having had any positive impact on breaking the glass closet?!?! Your site is now nothing more than a vehicle for your own vanity AND your incredible jealousy/bitterness. You are exceedingly negative towards gays, despite your alleged pride. (Look at your posts on Cynthia Nixon's FABULOUS girlfriend and on Lohan's alleged relationship with Samantha Ronson. Also, your outing of celebs not ready to make that step yet sucks.) Get over yourself. You have quickly made yourself irrelevant.

    26

    Wow Perez,

Now, exactly how have you "done your part" If by this you mean how you rake these people over the coals and perpetuate the negative stereotypes surrounding gays (bitchy, miserable, catty etc.), then yes I'd agree, you have done your part. I have what you do to gays on this web-site.

  27. Marky says – reply to this

    27

Your part? You really are delusional Mario. All you do is out people who aren't ready to come out and say bitchy things about those who do. You also promote negative gay stereotypes on this site. You're a disgrace.

  32. Steven says – reply to this

    32

Uhhhhh, no you haven't done crap. Unlike you we have people who have come out in a respectable way while being a positive role model for the gay community. You might try that some time in place of trying to force people to come out before their ready. You actually should be ashamed of yourself for your own actions. Not all gay men and women run around on their pink roller skates waving a rainbow flag.

    37

finally. i do believe in outing famous people. they have success and if they are good even if they aren't the public never has EVER changed their minds about how much they love or hate a celeb once their gayness is public. Usually the love them more. TAKE …Ellen D. more famous. Lance B. more famous. Will S. will be more famous if he ever grows the balls to come out on his own, but not likely. Oprah we know she is hiding something get over it O.

Where is the African American community who is always shouting their big mouths off ….why aren't they coming OUT.
Ah waiting for the white man to do it first then you will do it.
And somehow you will BLAME white gays for oppressing black gays. Ya right snooze.

Asian gays ? never mind you are out.

uhmmm and we don't care about the rest hahahaha

Re: tell – No Michael is not gay, he has stated that he is married, and like you I get no gay vibe from him at all, but he is gorgeous, and was voted off AI way too soon. As for Cook, to me he doesn't seem sexual at all, very peculiar. He strikes me as someone who isn't actively looking for any kind of personal relationship, isn't putting out vibes at all one way or the other. And poor little David Archuleta, I bet he doesn't know he's gay at all. I think his dad interferes with him so much cuz dad can tell and wants to "protect" his son from predatory queers looking to score vi
