Film star Samuel L. Jackson is turning into a TV man.

He's signed a 'first-look deal' with CBS to develop and exec produce projects for the smallscreen.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

According to an industry report, there's no acting component, but there's always a chance Jackson may lend his face in some fashion to whatever project he cooks up.

"He's an incredibly versatile person," said CBS Paramount Network TV president David Stapf. "There's no limit to what he's interested in. He will attract other really interesting artists and writers."

Stapf said he was particularly interested in making the deal after learning Jackson is a passionate TV fan.

Congrats!

But, pretty PLEASE…NO reality projects!!!

      Samuel Jackson is such a quality guy. He just goes about his business, works hard and is incredibly successfull. You never hear anything about him being hard to work with, you never hear anything about him being abusive toward women or having illegitmate offspring, you never hear him getting political or playing the race card. Sam is a great role model for young black kids to show them that hard work, clean living without complaining is the way to go.
