Well I have met Mr. O'Dowd and he was a very pleasant person to meet, unlike some other celebrities. Many posters here are under the age of 35 so that means you were in diapers or still trying to find a womb to enter when this man was a superstar. That's right he was a superstar, still is in many people's eyes. No matter how old he is or how long he has been out of the public eye the man can still out sing even the current superstars. I am glad he is touring again and I would love to see him in concert again. I wish him good luck and for all the babes in toyland….do some musical history research and learn about the great music of the 80's. Long Live Boy George!!!!

Boy George is, actually, a really underrated singer/songwriter. All he ever gets remembered for is his exploits… but the truth is, the man has a great ear for emotional, intelligent lyrics and, even though the voice is altered via his smoking habit, he still has one of the most soulful voices to emerge from Britain in the last 50 years.
