I'm pretty liberal, I support gay rights(including gay marriage) 110%, I believe in federal and state aid for those who really need it, etc etc, and I OWN GUNS! When you are married to a soldier who is away from home a lot, and you are a very petite and young woman, you will take all the home protection you can get.
