GAY MARRIAGE is LEGAL not just in ONTARIO, but IN ALL OF CANADA.
One of the only good things John Chretien did in his time as PM. I am extremly proud to live in a country (ahem) that lets its citizens commit to who they are in love with, without putting its 'morals' aka discrimintion into the equation.

Google wiki/same-sex marriage and see that Canada is not the leader here. Many other nations recognize same sex relationships. You can't disregard people because they are 'different' and it makes you 'uncomfortable." You are like the red ant battling the black ant into eternity. That is a ridiculous position for an intelligent humanity with a conscience. Other countries have found that it doesn't hurt anything or anyone to grant gays legalized marriage, but helps their gay families and community, and that is a litmus test for good policy.

Canada The place where all my family comes from.. I live in Holland myself. Too bad the US (or the people there) is still left behind.. Uh,..Holland is just as much a name for our country as The Netherlands. In Dutch it might have been the cumulative name for North and South Holland, but in foreign languages it is perfectly acceptable as a name for The Netherlands.

It is not the same, as say England and the British Isles.
