STFU Cusack. McCain was on the Today Show this morning and very clearly stated he feeling the troops are not ready to leave Iraq, BUT, no longer wants to see anymore US troop killed or put in harms way. In other words, McCain, like many others, feel the troops should remain to monitor the situation. Once again, another Hollywood actor who doesn't know what they are talking about and doesn't fully understand McCain's stance troops in the Middle East. Cusack just made an ass out of himself!!

I am no fan of John McCain, but if you look at his record as a whole and do not cherry pick several positions, you would clearly see a multitude of differences between him and Bush. McCain is much more left of the republican party as a whole, hence the disdain for him amongst right leaning republicans. Just think about it! Why are so many conservatives who are in favor of Bush, not for McCain?…. If views and policies were similar it would be a slam dunk for them. But it's not…..Common sense goes a long way.

Alas my heart has been broken. One of my favorite actors from my lifetime… now a talking head for the DNC. Why am I surprised? Oh… and actors and musicians don't know crap about politics. It's all about being cool in Hollywood and it hasn't been "cool" to be a conservative since the 50s. In fact, it is very uncool to express any opinion other than a liberal one. i saw War Inc. las weekend. eh it was all right. i mean, i know there have been a slew of War related movies - and some of the documentaries on it are amazing and shocking, like Iraq for Sale.
although i love John Cusack War Inc. is more like a movie to rent then to watch in theaters, there are some funny moments but critics were right when comparing it to Grosse Point Blank - just seeing that movie, its great!
for War related movies, i really did like Morgan Spurlock's "Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden?" - i was annoyed that critics gave it such a bad review. i saw it anyways, and loved it. the movie just shows people from all different ethnicities and parts of the world, all striving for the samething, a better life for there children and trying to survive in a crumbling society.

Well my dear, you could not be more wrong. There are plenty of well paid extremely popular actors that are in fact conservative. Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, Drew Carrey, Heather Locklear, Mel Gibson, and countless others. It doesn't make them cool or "uncool" it just makes them extremely out of touch with the middle class.

I am a huge fan of people making informed decisions before they vote - but MoveOn is a lot less credible than, say, The Economist, people. Get out there and learn - but try to do so from more balanced sources. MoveOn isn't any better than FoxNews, frankly. Skewed, biased, and roundly known for using small snippets of information to twist an agenda…just like FoxNews.

It was also agreed upon that it was never to be used as a piggy bank for the government to dip into as they see fit. However, if any of you fucking Democrats did your research before spouting your mindless garble, you'd also find out that it was the DEMOCRATS who decided later to make social security INVOLUNTARY and make it completely available for the government to fund their bullshit projects and waste it all into oblivion so that all of us who have HAD TO pay into it since we began working won't see a fuckin dime when we get to retirement age. Social Security shoulod ABSOLUTELY be privatized and should be voluntary so that we actually have some control over it.
