Coldplay Tour Delays

Choppy waters ahead!
According to reports, Coldplay has been forced to postpone the start of their North American tour by 2 weeks because of 'production delays'.
The tour will now begin in LA, July 14th.
The stint was to close August 4th in Chicago but will instead wrap that day in Boston.
Tickets for the scrapped dates will be valid for the new ones, but refunds are also available at points of purchase. An updated itinerary is posted on the band's site.
Coldplay's previously announced free shows in London (June 16), Barcelona (June 17) and New York (June 23) will go on as planned.
What could be these so-called "production delays"????

Production delays because they realized they suck?
According to my sources…the new songs are more complex than the older piano driven tracks and they need more time to get them right for a live show. Nothing shady or crooked going on, they just want to make sure the songs are performed right…
Old news. Broaden your horizons, they were on KROQ last week and said these giant balls that they will have on stage aren't finished yet. If you're going to report something, research it, get to the bottom of it, and report the WHOLE story.
I bet tickets aren't selling, that's their "production issue". Total BS and us fans have to suffer. I had tix for the July show in Detroit, now it's on a Monday in November, what a diss. Their new album isn't great anyhow, this is from a huge fan.

A huge mistake on their part. I can't attend the new date either. Pissing off fans after the sub par album isn't a good idea.

Chris Martin was on KROQ this week and said that they had delays with some "Electronic Balls" they are using in the production of the tour and tweaks had to be made to them, thus delaying the start.

Yah this shit sucks my husband's birthday is July 3rd, and we were supposed to go to the show in CT that day. Now its postponed, and he will be away with the military in August so the tickets are garbage to me now.

These so called 'production delays' are in fact, actual production delays Perez. It turns out that for their production they need huge glass spheres that light up in different colors. Apparently, as Chris Martin told the listeners to KROQ's Kevin and Bean Morning show on Monday June 2nd, these important pieces of their show will only be ready in time for the Los Angeles shows, so that is why they have to start the tour in L.A.

Check out MUSE, a much better band. Coldplay is lite rock, and not in a good way. X&Y totally blows, and the new one has 4 good tunes at best.
