   Congrats to Norway, home sweet home!
   Anyways, to those of you who are totally against it and manages to say : what about the children, who'll have to face a childhood with different problems, etc. I'll have to agree with many others who wrote this before me: What about love? Isn't it better for an orphan child to grow up with two parents of the same sex, who gives the child all the love it needs, a place to live and food on the table every day? Ok, so gay marriages is something new, but doesen't everything new get old? Det her blir jævlig grøtete.. What I am trying to say!! Don't share all your negative comments in a case that so many people have fought for, and won, and what so many other homosexual humanbeings are still fighting for!! It's a big thing, and it's important!

   Re: gigi – acctually, gigi, lesbians have not been able to adopt in Norway. But single people can. So if you are a woman and a lesbian, you can adopt your own child, but your partner can not ALSO be the adopted mother of that child. The rules are not different for men, it's just that - like in most countries - the women are always preferred legally as the caretaker so they are more often approved as adopted parents than men.

   Anyway, that's all in the past, just a little more paperwork now and we'll soon have our first gay marriage I am proud of my country :)

   What is wrong with you people? Why do you have to trash each other? Can't you just read the transelations and make up your mind if you like it or not. There is no need for Americans to learn Norwegian. It does not make them stupid because they can't speak the language. There are a few things I would like you Americans to learn:
   #1 Norway is a country, not the capital of Sweeden.
   #2 You seem to think that every Norwegian is killing whales on a daily basis. We do not. I have never seen or killed or eaten whale. Way, way up north in Norway, a few people kill a whale every now and again, so what?
