Yes Hulk, we are with you. As usual, the media and websites such as TMZ did not report the whole story. They only want you to hear the bad, because that what fuels attention to the story. TMZ, for example, only posted the phone calls that sounded bad. They were taken out of context. Hulk said during this interview there were other calls where they prayed for John and his family. Also, websites such and TMZ and others never revealed that the Judge ordered that the taped calls no longer be released because he is technically a minor, even though he was tried as an adult. It is against Florida Law to release to the media taped jail calls from a minor. Hulk apologized for some of the things that were said, but also emphazied they were taken completely out of context because no one heard the conversations that lead up to them, or the ones that were right after them. What Nick did was very wrong, and he deserves to be punished. But he has also been grossly mistreated by both the jail system and the media.
kid is so young. the fam is tying to be supportive to their son, whose life feels like its over. what amazing guilt and fear he must feel, good for hulk for supporting his baby!
it's obvious he's in pain and i feel for him, but i am still a little uncomfortable with his comments on the victim. i can't claim to understand all things on a cosmic or spiritual level, but it feels weird for hulk to say that being in a coma is making nick's friend into a better person.

I felt really bad for him. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. You can see on his face how remorseful and sorry he is. I think the media should back off.

Come on guys. What if the media taped all your phone calls and leaked it to the press? What people say in private could be just venting on their part. I think it's horrible what happened to John and the guilt his son must feel is worse than any jail sentence.

Sad for everyone involved. If you're religious, it's very common for Christians to discuss God's plan, etc. I don't think he meant to be disrespectful and he was just trying to help his son make it through the day.

I do believe his feelings on this interview to be genuine. However what god would plan for a young man in his youth to end up in a coma needing assistance probably for the rest of his life? This boy is in a coma because a) his driver was reckless, young, arrogant and chose to speed and b) because (so I believe) the boy himself did not wear a seatbelt - also an incredibly foolish choice. I know a young man of 19 myself who died after crashing his car because he chose not to wear his seatbelt, and the loss was tragic.
Passing things over to god makes the pain a little more bearable somehow. My friend is a GP - and says she prays each morning to god in order to help her make the right decisions each day. If by any chance she makes the wrong decision - it is god's will. I guess it makes it easier for people to live their lives by believing in god's will.

All of our children at one time or another make mistaks, some bad, some worse and some not so bad. It is every parents instinct to protect their child. Hulk Hogan is handling it well and as he said, maybe his son will benefit.
