Farrah Fawcett is reportedly banking on her fight with cancer.
Friends have been following Farrah and videotaping her ordeal. The footage shot will supposedly be sold to NBC for $2 million, according to insiders.
Hopefully, Farrah will donate some of the proceeds to cancer research.
But, hey, it's her life and her health. She can exploit it (or not) as she chooses!

Get well Farrah cancer is terrible It'll give hope to more people to become survivors and if it gives money to research then I commend you for it!!
I think she probably starting taping it as a way to help other cancer survivors and others who struggle with the disease. I am quite certain she didn't set out to get cancer, film her struggle and then make money.

I think it is a great idea. If it inspires or helps one person with cancer, I am all for it. I think that whenever someone famous shows strength and courage in the face of cancer, they inspire others. If she can make a dollar or two while doing it, more power to her, not to mention fighting cancer is not cheap. Good luck Farrah.

Having cancer is a massive drain financially. She may very well need the funds to live, or not; but simply raising awareness with her videos will aid in public awareness and contributions to cancer funds or its suffering victims.

I think that it is great that she is doing this. If she can inspire just one person going through breast cancer, it is worth more than 2 million dollars. It isn't cheap fighting cancer and, using alternatives requires a lot more added expense. Good luck to her and thank you Farrah for sharing your fight and helping others.
and DUH, maybe the woman needs the money. She hasn't worked for years. Lay off her. When people can sell their semen and blood, when a girl can make a buck selling pictures of her nude body OR her kids, surely Farrah can sell her own story.
What fucking difference does it make if she donates the money or not. It was her ordeal and maybe she needs the money. My mom passed away from cancer and I also just lost my brother from it. The reason she started filming her battle is because she sought alternative treatments outside of the U.S.
Showing that there are other less invasive forms of treatment other than the current treatments offered in the U.S is a brave thing to do.
God knows the U.S health system and treatments do need revising.

Farrah has been the American Cancer spokesperson for years so she can do what she wants with her money. Farrah hasn't acted in years and has been unable to work due to her illness for 2 years now. She deserves whatever money she gets. She is revealing something terribly private and she will be inspirational to millions of people and especially those fighting cancer. I am curious of her results. I have a strong faith in alternative medicine, I have seen miraculous results from a few. The medical and the health care industry are constantly trying to discredit there effectiveness. If there are alternative treatments that helped Farrah battle Cancer then the world should know about them.
She may just need the money to pay for the extraordinant amount of expenses one incurs when trying to treat cancer! One daily pill can be thousands of dollars! I wish her well as I would anyone suffering from a disease such as cancer or MS. Farrah is beautiful!

What a lovely, lovely woman she is. I have always admired her. Maybe not her choices in men, but most of us have also picked losers at some stage in our lives. She's got the right attitude, a fighting spirit, and bodes no ill towards anyone. I respect her and wish her a complete recovery.

Enough money has been poured down the abyss of cancer research for conventional medicine, and any promising alternative research has been suppressed by the AMA or outlawed by the FDA. Hell, is the best the docs can come up with poisonous chemo which destroys the immune system and organ-melting radiation?
Everyone screams about AIDS being so bad but CANCER has caused a true holocaust. Very few families escape the Death Claw that is cancer. I've lost 4 grandparents and aunts and uncles to the disease.
Good for Farrah, seeking alternative care in Germany, and filming her experiences. If she manages to win this battle, she will have documentary proof of the efficacy of the alternative treatments she has received.
