Shia LaBeouf LaDouche is "embarrassed" by the 'slapping fight' video that's been circulating on the internets.
You know, the one where LaDouche successfully provokes a pal to give it to him by calling him a “faggot.”
Shia's rep says, “The videotape that is currently being circulated is several years old and captures Shia playing a game among friends in which he uses a derogatory word toward a friend. He regrets having used the word in any capacity and is very embarrassed that this footage is being seen by anyone.”

Give him a break. He is young and was even younger when the video was taken. Yes, he used a word that I do not agree with, but he was among friends and said a stupid thing. The video shows young boys, that is what they do, they are immature and do stupid stuff. In all fairness — until the last two years, that word did not have the same taboo status as it does now. It was even used on Will and Grace. NOT SAYING THAT IT IS NOT OFFENSIVE. But we should look at his use of the word in context. I'm glad that he knows better now and trust that he will DO BETTER going forward.
