This Is Getting Out Of Control

Paul Newman's friend and business partner, A.E. Hotchner, has denied an Associated Press report, which quotes him saying that the actor is fighting cancer, according to Access Hollywood.
Hotchner tells the show, “I saw him last week and he seemed fine. I have no knowledge of any diagnosis or doctors.”
The AP says it stands by its story.
We hope you're doing OK, either way, Mr. Newman.

Well, many people care whether Paul Newman is struggling. He is well liked.
Maybe his friend did an 'oops' and is recanting to protect Newman's privacy.
Perhaps he didn't talk at all. Maybe AP is protecting their source. Ah, well, these things are very tough to keep under wraps when you're an icon like Paul.

Love Paul Newman and it is expected at 83 to have some health issues. How come everyone is shocked that medical information is leaked from Cedars Sinai - but thrive on 'rumours' of a screen legend dying of cancer? It should be his and his families business regardless of the status of his health and I think after his great contributions to the screen and to endless charities he is entitled to privacy as he has earned this respect. Yes he looks frail - but he is 83 years old he isn't supposed to look like a fit 21 year old!!! The only thing I notice about him is he has cataracts and that is shown clearly in his photo - but that is a sign of age….
