This time around, though, it's Edward Norton who's being the diva.
Norton, Courtney Love and Salma Hayek's ex, has decided he will hardly be doing any publicity for the new Hulk movie, according to reports.
He not only stars in the movie but according also helped to write and tweak the screenplay - something he DEMANDED.
Well, after a fall-out with Marvel and Universal, he's declined to do much publicity.
Thankfully, Liv Tyler is doing her part to promote the film.
As for the next two sequels of the movie, turns out Norton might not be in them.
He apparently didn't sign for the following films, most likely in an attempt to to get more money. Tyler and director Louis Leterrier have both signed up for the entire trilogy.
And in case you haven't heard, Robert Downer Jr is making a surprise appearance in the Hulk as Tony Stark (Iron Man).

The Incredible Hulk star Edward Norton has denied reports of a rift with the director and studio behind the new comic book movie, after he failed to take part in promotional duties for the film.
Norton has been plagued by rumours of bust-ups with filmmaker Louis Leterrier and Marvel Entertainment, but he insists disagreements are all part of the creative process.
But as the film prepares to hit movie theatres on Friday, the actor is a notable absence from the talk show circuit, leaving TV appearances to co-star Liv Tyler.
However, the actor's representative insists there is nothing unusual about Norton turning down interviews - because he never gives them.
His spokesperson tells the New York Daily News, "Edward never does that kind of thing - that's not him."

WHY DOES HE KEEP GETTING MOVIE ROLES???? He's always been known to be a difficult actor who give DIRECTORS direction and cuts scenes when he feels like it. He's not even a great actor (this movie looks like it sucks and would only be interesting to kids between 6-10.) I really don't get why they haven't black-listed him yet. I saw this movie last night here in Toronto and it is SUCH a shame that he's not going to be doing any promo for it as it is a REALLY good movie. MUCH better than the last go-round for sure!

Ed Norton is a class act, period. With that said, I can hardly believe he'd lend his talents to a waste of time like the second Hulk movie to be cranked out of HollyAss in 5 years. I don't get it. Norton doesn't need this this crap, and I can't believe he needs the money. If he's got some latent Freudian shit to work out with his Dad - do it on the couch, man; NYC is loaded with great analysts. I totally love Ed Norton - big, big, wonderful talent. I can't wait for his next movie, whatever it is, and I'm glad to know it won't be Hulk. Ed, babe, let's put this moment behind us.

The reason some great celebs don't do interviews is because they suck at them and come across as boring assholes. For instance, Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Paul Newman, Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, etc. I mean they recently forced Harrison Ford to promote the new Indiana Jones movie, and all his interviews sucked. He could hardly talk, and when he did, you couldn't understand anything he said. Just because someone is a great actor doesn't make them a good promoter or interviewee, so fucking leave them alone.

My biggest question is how the hell does he expect that "the Incredible Hulk" is some sort of "Raging Bull" remake? he knew what it entailed, huge budget. seqaul, etc, loads of EPK"s , junkets, making nice with smiling ass faces from E! etc, its not like he just made an indie movie! This is not only OLD NEWS, mate… and we're talking MONTHS here… but it's not even factually accurate (not that that's ever stopped you).
Besides, actors of Norton's calibre don't sign onto superhero films every day. If they agreed to let him rewrite the script, how is that any more demanding or unprofessional than ANY screenwriter expecting a studio to honour its side of a bargain?
Who cares, anyway? The film was GREAT and Ed Norton was at the premiere AND did a neat little spot for MovieFone (or whatever it's called). God knows what other promo he's doing but, from what I gather, he's never really promoted ANYTHING all that much… preferring to let the work speak for itself.

They're making an ultimate avenger film apparently by 2012, which will be a crossover of about 6 different comic book heroes, Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, the Black Widow and Nick Fury.
