MTV recently asked Mark Wahlberg if Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch would be reuniting any time soon.

You know, since his bro, Donnie , reunited with his band the New Kids On the Block and all that.

“Not a fucking chance,” responded the younger Wahlberg.

He went on to say, “They asked me if I would partake and I had to decline. Part of me would love to run around and act like a freaking a–hole again but I can’t do that. I’ve got two kids. I saw something on VH1 or something about me in the 90s and I thought, oh my God, how am I going to explain this to my kids? I have a few years to think about how to finesse it but I do think about it on a daily basis.”

We just heard the sound of many 30-something hearts breaking across the land.

Oh, and speaking of the New Kids reunion, Marky Mark says, "Whatever floats your boat. If the Rolling Stones can be wheeled out on wheelchairs then why can’t the New Kids go out there?"

      he has always been very opposed to the idea and never even liked to be made fun of when this topic came up. I would feel ashamed too if I was acting like that. Just look at Vanilla Ice, he is a mess as well. Vanilla hates that phase in his life as well. I wonder if we'll see eminem in about 10 years acting all gangsta, or will he be like Vanilla Ice and Marky Mark? Only time will tell.

      Mark Wahlberg is a fantastic actor! Why would he go back to the Funky Bunch. His brother is also a talented actor, but has not had as much success. Not a big deal. Also Marky produces 'Entourage', which is a great show…so he's a little busy now.

      Mark is associating performing musically with 'running around and acting like a freaking A-hole again.' Sounds like a confession. Uhm, some performers never did that, and particularly when they're older and have more sense. They enjoy performing, and treat their fans with respect and behave with integrity. If he's a better man now, he'd be a better man back performing. He's not who he once was, but if he thinks it would be temptation, I get his decision. He must be 'over' music. I don't blame him one bit for not wanting to leave his kids behind to go back on the road. I really like his acting. A lot.

      I was curious about the cost of going to see nkotb did u know they are charging up to 675 dollars for tickets the cheapest being 90. WOW! Are we even that popular anymore to charge that much. I love them but I'm not paying that to see them. Their tickets were cheaper back in the day and popular preformers like Justin Timberlake charge up to 300 for their tickets and cheapest being 65.       I don't see anything besides Marky Mark admitting he was a huge a-hole as a youngster and not wanting to go back to those days. Sure, it might've opened doors for his success today, but I don't think anyone who's managed to establish themselves as legit would want to go back to their trou-dropping, paparazzi-punching days. He knows where his bread is buttered, and that was never with the Funky Bunch. Good for him for realizing that and deciding to stay a grown-up.
