Okay, inflation is up, but putting a picture of George Bush up on this entry is just plain ignorant. It's just adding to the "Blame Bush' mentality that is plaguing this country. I am no fan of his, but I also think that any reasonable human being would look at all the sources of the problems of this country.

I have seen a few posts about OPEC being to blame. Kudos to you. There are of course other reasons, but OPEC is at the top of that list. Also for those you care read articles about your best liberal friend George Soros.

For those of you who have forgotten, our government doesn't just consist of George Bush. It also includes the Democrat Congress which has a job approval rating of 18% vs. Bush's 28%. These figures come the Gallup Poll who are one of the most trusted polling sites. Both their numbers should disgust everyone and yes, they are partially responsible for inflation.

We also can't forget the Fed and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. They control the interests rates in this country, and how they've controlled them has been questionable.

The point of all of this, is that every problem in this country cannot be blamed on GWB!

And here's a little trivia for you. The average inflation rates during the Bush and Clinton administrations were nearly identical, 2.69% and 2.61%, respectively. I seriously doubt that Perez would have posted about inflation in the Clinton administration.

Fun Facts: Bill Clinton vetoed drilling in ANWR in 1996. If Clinton had not vetoed the bill in 1996, in 2006 we would not be so dependent on foreign and paying crazy prices at the pumps There is approximately between 7 and 12 billion barrels of oil in ANWR. Calculating minimally, we would have 12 years of oil and at a maximum 32! For everyone who wants to help the environment (including myself), this would have at least given us time, instead of scrambling to find an alternative to oil. The Democrat's argument? In 1987, Canada and the U.S. signed the Agreement on the Conservation of the Porcupine Caribou Herd treaty which was designed to protect the herd and its habitat from damage or disruptions in migration routes. It was only an agreement between us and Canada because Anwr borders Canada's Iwavik and Vunut National Parks. Messing up a Caribou herd's migration pattern vs. what we're facing now… I choose the latter. I think the Caribou can find another way….

It's really CRAZY out here today. Milk, Honey, bread and butter, hamburger meat, etc. etc. etc. My pockets are being drained btw food, gas and transportation and I haven't seen a raise at work in over 3 years.
