Perez Hilton…… you are the most insecure person to walk this earth. What does it feel like to make others feel like shit just so you can have a disposable income????? Why not invest your time in all of these charities you put on your site???? Im going to laugh when one of these celebrities kills themselves because of all the negative energy people like Perez Hilton give to them. How will you feel after that, Perez???? Were you picked on in school??????

Thank you for posting this. My mother has been battling this incurable disease for 3 years now. I hadn't even heard of ALS till it became a part of my family. Perez, you have the ability and power to promote awareness. Again, Thank you.

My mother passed of this devastating disease 2 years ago - thank you for posting the link - the awareness is desperately needed. Arman, Manos, Arcim (twice), krist, &Q - you should save your silly little contests for the posts about cellulite.

My mom died from ALS at the age of 56. It's a terrible, horrible disease. You can help to find a cure by participating in the Walk to D'Feet ALS all over the country this summer/fall. I raised over $2000 last year. Thank you, Perez, helping to raise money for research. This disease does not get enough press and what it does to people is horrible.

My grandmother died of ALS, and its by far the most underfunded and underresearched disease there is. DONATE AND RAISE AWARENESS!

My father died about a year ago from this disease. He was a week short of his 45th birthday. This is a horrible disease that robs a person of ALL of their abilities, and slowly makes it so they are "locked in" or basically trapped in their body. Thank you for publicizing information on this disease. There is NO cure for ALS, and the only drug FDA approved for it extends the life of the patient by 2-3 months. This disease can kill a person in as little as 6 months or as much as 60 years, you just never know. Hopefully with enough public knowledge about the disease we'll have a cure for it one day.

Thank you for posting this perez!! it means the world to me that this disease is getting some exposure! My grandmother passed away from this horrible degenerative disease many years ago. When I was a baby my mother passed away from ALS as well. I am 25 years old this july, and so far this disease has claimed two uncles, an aunt, a 27 year old cousin, a mother and a grandmother. THANK YOU for raising some awareness, I’m proud of you! May God bless you angel.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Perez!!! My husband is dying from ALS and we have received help with equipment, advice, and misc. expenses from MDA. A great cause. On the other hand, the ALS society sux. Mostly they are after us to sign over pieces of the cadaver after it is all over…a great way to treat the patients who have the disease that pays your salary? Thanks again!

thank you for putting this up. millions of people visit your site every day, and maybe if more people knew about the disease, there could be more research and a better fight against it. my mom's 49 and a slow progressor, but it gets harder every day. it's a horrible, heartbreaking, inexplicable disease, and more funding is desperately needed to figure this nightmare out.

    thanks again for posting.

Thanks Perez for posting this! My dad was diagnosed at 23 and has been living with the disease for 24 years. It is good to know that there are some people out there that recognize ALS and the need to donate money for research to find a cure. It may be to late for my dad, but maybe one day there may be a cure for other ALS patients.

Something like this makes me really happy.
I lost my father last august in consequence of ALS and we battle against this terrible disease during 3 years….

I hope iniciatives like this could pop out in Brazil (where I'm from)…

Congrats, Perez, on bringing people stuff like this!

Perez, thank you SO much for putting this up here! ALS doesn't get the press of other diseases and research funding is severly lacking. Thank you for putting this out there for millions of people to see.

Perez, just reading this has got me crying. My uncle died from ALS at age 50. You don't know how hard it was to see him from one year being fine, and the next almost a vegetable. Thank you, Perez

Perez… I officially love you. I read your website everyday, and everytime I see a daily inspiration, I pray that the next one, or the one after that, will be about ALS. My dad has ALS, and it has been horrible to watch this disease take away EVERYTHING (including his independence) that he has worked so hard to achieve. Hes only 48. Whats even worse about this horrible, fatal disease is that it is so relatively unknown. It paralyzes you, traps your fully functioning brain in a body where you can, ultimately, move nothing but your eyes.

WE MUST SPREAD THE WORD IN ORDER TO FIND A CURE.

THIS DISEASE NEEDS AS MUCH PROMOTION AS IT CAN… please, as much as I talk to my friends, scream, and shout about this disease, its not enough, no one hears me.

There is no national registry for this disease, this means that there is no way for the government to see where ALS patients are located, or if there is an environment problem which could ultimately be causing this disease. Also, it means that patients who may suffer from this disease are alone, with no national database of people who are suffering to.

Perez. This disease needs your help.

ALS is a horrible disease. It robs people of their body, while leaving their mind intact to understand what is happening. I've had two loved ones die of this horrendous disease.

Whether you like Perez or not, please respect the fact that this is a good thing that he is doing by promoting this.

Thank you for posting this cause. I lost my mother to the disease 5 years ago after she battled with it for 10 years. It's unbelievable how terrible it is. Now my Aunt has it also.

Thanks for this. My dad died of ALS 8 years ago. Everyone–lobby your politicians, scream from the rooftops. A woman who's mother was diagnosed created an adventure challenge race for ALS and has raised $560,000 in 5 years. We can do it! We need to demand action.
