Wifey Gwenny Paltrow seems to be rubbing off on Chirssy boy!
According to the BBC, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin walked out nine minutes into a pre-recorded interview for BBC's Radio 4 because he wasn't enjoying himself.
He's probably a nine-minute (if that!) man in bed too!
The band's drummer, Will Champion, was left to answer questions from the interviewer until Martin decided to return for one final question.
Seems like Chrissy was on the defensive and pouty from the get go. When he was asked about a speech he made at a music awards ceremony in 2005 where he said the band would be away "for a very long time", Martin said, "I always say stupid things and I think Radio 4 is the place that will most remind me of that."
Then when the interviewer questioned whether the new album was a morbid reflection of the band's lyrical obsession with death.
Husband of Gwenny said, "I wouldn't agree with you there at all, no. I'd say you're journalistically twisting me into saying something I don't really mean."
He then peaced out a few minutes later saying "(I'm) not really enjoying this" and that he did not really like "having to talk about things".
Martin returned to answer a final question, about finding new musical territory, with the response: "Um….yes…yes, yes….exactly…"
Get over yourself, Chris.
You have an album to promote.

What an assface. I use to be into coldplay…I saw them @ Coachella a few years back, and they put on a good show. But since i've gained knowledge of the personalities they possess I've lost all interest in them… It's a shame when good music happens to bad people, they always fuck themselves over.

I know people who were at school with Chris Martin and they are still stunned at how sucessful he's become as at school he was nobody special and not even that talented. His band have had a few good songs, that's it. I've seen them perform at festivals and almost fell asleep. Plus he's not even good-looking! Go to the BBC website, (the bbcdotcodotuk version, not BBC America) click Radio 4, select Front Row 'go to website' from the programme A-Z, d then click the listen to the latest edition' button. He was clearly very uncomfy with the whole interview, but I don't think the interviewer was being unreasonable or awkward. Who knows what they edited out though ….
Their latest CD blows. Its the same old shit they have put out before only now its tired. They are very one dimensional. His wife must have lent him the stick she usually has up her ass for his interview, though i am 100% positive she has a back-up stick for occasions just like this.

Perez! You obviously didn't even listen to the interview. Geez, man do some research. The interviewer had called Chris "sexist" without warrant and was answering his own questions without even letting Chris finish the real answer. Also, did you not realize that the version of the interview that was released was edited down by quite a lot? None of us have any idea what was said between the two men that they've chosen to edit out. I hate it that Chris walked out because I think it's unprofessional but it was totally provoked. He's anything but DIVA Perez! That would be you that's a DIVA. Chris Martin is actually very humble… almost to a fault. Also, Will did a great job continuing on with the interview so he deserves props.
He's been full of himself for awhile now. Coldplay hasn't even been around that long. He thinks he's Bono or something. U2 was around for over 15 years before Bono got on his high-horse and started getting all political. Chris Martin has a huge ego - if we don't respect you, we won't like your music.

Don't you think the questions were not so thinly veiled insults asking him (Chris) to confirm that he is indeed an asshole? I don't blame him for having attitude. Chris Martin is a musician…he is under no obligation to indulge and partake in useless conversation that is not relivant to the album that he is currently promoting. If you've turned on a TV in the last month you would know that his band has been promoting their album with itunes comercials…etc. Just because he has artistic integrity doesn't make him a diva or a sissy.

I'M really starting to lose my faith in coldplay. I saw them when Parachutes came out and I feel like they are a completely different band now (personality wise). Chris Martin seems to be so full of himself- and if you're all about the FANS- you wouldnt DELAY your stupid tour so that your FANS can't go. The limelig
