Not that there's anything wrong with Glendale, but Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are looking to move out!

The pair have been living in the Good Charlotte rocker's house for over a year, but now they're looking to set up their own, new home together. And, they wanna be more centrally located.

Joela nd Nicole were spied house-hunting in Beverly Hills Wednesday.

One option the couple visited, according to a source, was a $1.6 million Beverly Hills house that is described as a Cape Cod mini-estate. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a Jacuzzi tub, pool and a kitchen outfitted with state-of-the-art Viking and Sub-Zero appliances.

Fancy!

Additionally, Joel and brother Benji's estranged dad, who lives in Maryland, is in town this week to spend more time with his sons and his granddaughter.

Happy father's day!

      i know he earns fuck all from his failed pop band, but id have thought she'd have a little more money to throw around. there is no way bitch is gonna live in a shitty house like that, and further to that there's no way lionel would let her. i think you'll find they'll end up in a house nearer the $7mil mark, as reported earlier in the year.

      I moved to Glendale a couple of years ago from the valley and ya.. they should totally move. The city is beautiful but some of the people (mostly the class-less guys) ruin it. I wish they would all LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!

      That can't possibly be accurate. The Maddens are from Waldorf, MD. People who don't make nearly as much money are paying upwards of 750,000 for a house like that in his county. $1.6 is almost (not quite) cheap for a smaller place in DC.       It actually sounds like a really nice house for that price. They probably just don't want to spend some obscene amount of money on some huge ass manion that they don't need. But Joel's house in Glendale is gorgeous to, and it's only 8 houses away from Benji..What will he do if he moves farther? haha

      As for their father being in town for father's day to spend time with them..Benji and Joel also have an older brother Josh and a younger sister Sarah..What about them?
