Missy Elliot is coming out with a long-awaited new album, Block Party, later this summer and the first single has just dropped.

Best, Best is an R&B jam with Missy singing and not rapping. The song was produced by Timbaland's protege, Danja, and we like it. But we don't love it!

1) Missy is singing, and that's not her forte.

2) Missy is singing about a man, and that's just not believable!

It's ok, but it's not the best that Missy has to offer. I mean usually I hear a song by her and am blown away by her quirkyness, her lyrics, or just a catchy beat. If you told me someone else sang this I would probably be ok with it, but I expect a lot more from Missy Elliot.
