Cher is usually a hermit. She pretty much stays at home and keeps out of sight from the paparazzi.

Thursday night, however, she decided to hit up a "hot spot."

The Vegas showgirl went partying with friends at Foxtail nightclub in West Hollywood, though she was a bit camera shy - making a quick exit and keeping her face covered.

Cher must not be seen without full makeup on, which for her takes six hours to apply!

      I finally figured out the thrill of being first….I saw no comments (not here) and couldn't wait to type first….but, still there were a few ahead of me…. Poor Cher…it seems like getting old is hard for her. It's not easy…to quote the great Bette Davis: "Old age isn't for sissies." It's gonna happen Cher so get used to it.       I've met Cher and found her to be really nice and kind. She was actually very pretty even though she had tons of stage make-up on. I liked her and she gave an outstanding performance. I would be friends with her if I had the chance.

      Gee, I wonder why. Why the negative slant? Cher can still wipe the floor with the best of them, and is the consummate survivor. There are so many other incredible stories that could be written about her that have nothing to do with make up. I hope Cher gets out more now, as most everyone else will be thrilled and glad to see her out. Aging is life's Everest, and as such, is to be respected.

      Actually, she looks damn good without the stage make up. After all, it's STAGE MAKE UP. Cher has said photogs keep her from going out w/ friends because she doesn't like that crap and it scares her.

      So many photog magnets today are only "famous" because of it and depend on the attention but the real stars, actors and singers with long spanning careers … they don't need it, don't want it and sadly it really impacts their everyday lives.

      Cher is an icon and does so much for charity without ever publicising it. She went to Germany visiting soldiers in U.S. Army hospitals. A friend of mine got to talk to her. He had both legs injured. He said she was the coolest and totally genuine and interested in his family and service.
