Are we seeing a Demi Moore and Bruce Willis trend here?
Kate Hudson took her four year-old son to a Father's Day brunch with his daddy, rocker Chris Robinson, on Sunday.
Also in attendance was Kate's new beau, former cyclist Lance Armstrong.
The parents and all their kids went to brunch at New York's Frankie's 457. Lance took his 8 year old son and 6 year old twin daughters along.
An insider says, "There was a boys' cab and a girls' cab. Ryder went with Lance. He was very comfortable with Lance. He ran right towards him! They were corralling all these kids together. It was really about the kids. They all celebrated Father's Day together."
Shortly after Kate and Lance arrived with the kids, Chris showed up with his girlfriend as well.
Everyone dined for about two hours and then departed from the awkward situation.
Why do they have to be so damn mature?

Honestly, I feel bad for that kid of Kate's. His mother has been on a non-stop rampage through men ever since she split with Chris. There is no reason to involve the child so early in all of these flings. There is nothing wrong with dating, but exposing the kid to it is another story. Mommy is looking kinda slutty.

I think that is awesome! Kim Basinger/Alec Baldwin, Denise Richards/Charlie Sheen, etc. really need to learn a lesson fro them. I think that what they are doing is so much healthier for the kids. The family make-up today is so different ten it once was. The days of mom, dad, and 2.5 kids are gone. Now, families are much more diverse. What Kate, Chris, lance, and Lance's wife are doing is letting the kids know that they don't have to be ashamed of the family make-up, or feel torn in different directions.

She may have dated different guys. But, we don't know that she exposed Ryder to all of them. I had a single mom growing up and she dated different guys. I knew that she was dating them, but she only ever introduced me to two of them - she dated one for over 4 years, and the other she married.

I am pretty sure if they took the time and effort to plan this, they wouldn't use it as an opportunity to trash talk each other. Sure, they may do that out of earshot of the kids - but, I highly doubt they did it in front of the kids. Of course, I don't know because I wasn't there. But, I find it very unlikely.

BTW, I don't see why Perez says it is awkward. Obviously it wasn't awkward for them or it wouldn't have been done. It's better for the kids that all parties involved get along, which they seem to be doing.

It really is amusing to me that people say they "went to therecord.com" and know the story is false. Yes, he was in Canada. But notice that there are pictures of her there with him. Also, if you spent a little more time studying geography rather then trying to debunk stories on PerezHilton, you would realize New York borders Ontario Canada. (Which is where he was) There are these amazing contraptions they call planes that will get you from point A to point B in a fraction of the time of driving. I realize that's an amazing concept to understand and all, but assuming they flew from the race in Canada to New York, that would have taken all of about an hour out of their day. Highly difficult to say theres NO way the story is true.

I was at frankies when they walked in. they were cute, looked happy and had quite a brood of kids with them. I didn't see Chris robinson show up though, but he could have passed undetected. If he came in, he came in much later. kate seemed down to earth, friendly…lance didn't remove his shades and comes off as being a bit of a tool.
PS; I just read some of these comments…yes, they were at Frankies. They came in around 1:30 for brunch and that was definitely lance armstrong with her. She didn't even try to disguise herself, her hair was pulled up loosely and she didn't have sunglasses on
