Represent? Mario you're about as Latin as a can of black beans on the supermarket shelf. You were made in the USA, so you're American, not Cuban - despite what you still believe from your south Florida Catholic school education. Expand your mind - this is the 21st century.

I watched part of this joke yesterday. Broadway is not what it used to be. It looks like something I would see at Six Flags or at Dollywood, seriously. The men who look like that do not take their craft seriously, and the plays, my god. No wonder people go watch Disney recreations on Broadway.

How, could Patti Lupone dare to take that role! She made me grimace when she sung….Where is Ethel and Roz??? Broadway is dead…All the greats are gone …and I mean the writers and composers too…At least they left us their terrific scores and music…But, Patti Lupone????

This idiot…with all the money he earns, you'd think he'd know how to implement a spell-check onto his posts. For someone making a living off of writing on a website, the LEAST he could do is PROOFREAD his material. He's just as sloppy with is writing as he is with his body and his overalll look.

wow you people are so completely ignorant. you have no idea what latino means. and you have no idea what this musical is about. you spout out these ridiculous hateful things and you just sound like a bunch of idiots.

not liking in the heights, thats fair enough, but spouting ignorant statements about what specific type of people its about? its about latinos, period. it can be enjoyed by all latinos and non latinos alike. its about urban living. its about hip hop, salsa, and reggaeton. its about scrimping and working hard and struggling to stay afloat.

get educated people. before you go spouting out ignorant shit. you really make yourselves look moronic.

  46. Azuqu says – reply to this

please queens, La Lupone RULES in "GYPSY"!! yes, she chews the scenery - and she spits it back out into the damn audience like a wood chipper machine spewing out shavings, just like a good Broadway diva should! her "MAMA ROSE" is the best EVER!!

    Congrats PATTI!!

who cares??? there is no creativity anymore that they have to write a musical about the dumb-in-a-cans???? aahahaahha and the puerto ricans? those two are the same, dumb, loud, zero class and all either on welfare or doing menial jobs…. face it, who the hell wants to live above 96th street ? NO BODY

    54

    Re: melis

ahahahah a musical about reaggeton? staying afloat while on welfare? with 3 kids from 3 different fathers? ahahahahahahahahah yeah thats pure entertainment! dont you get it? all the successful latinos are in boston playing golf on sundays, not "in the heights" eating rice and beans, only the low class hispanics live up there.

    61

Ok, first of all let's leave the AZUCAR part out of this…Not everyone that's latin happens to be Cuban. Why Mr. PerezHIlton don't you give any recognition to the Dominican community? The reason as to why this play is called "The Heights" is because it's based on latinos , mainly Puerto Rican's and Dominican's in Washington Heights. So in other words, lets leave the Cubanism out at least this once.

"In The Heights" Is a cliche Broadway musical. Mr.Lin-Manuel Miranda should not put out something that he has nooooooooo idea about. Maybe he should take a trip uptown to Washington Heights and rethink what he has written.
