Hope this is the wake up call she needs!

Amy Winehouse was hospitalized on Monday after fainting at home.

Is "fainting" the new code word for overdose/passing out????

The Wino mouthpiece says, "Amy was at home this afternoon when she briefly fainted. Fortunately, her manager's assistant was there to stop her falling. She quickly recovered and her father Mitch took her to hospital as a precaution. Doctors are unsure of the cause of the incident and Amy is currently undergoing tests."

Um, maybe her body is tired of all the drugs and shit she's been consuming????

Wino "may be kept in [the hospital] overnight for observation," the rep added.

She needs to be locked up in rehab for a while!!!!!

Her heart probably went tachycardic from all of the stimulants (crack, cocaine, ecstasy) she's putting into her body on a daily basis. The body can only take so much of a beating year after year before organs start to putter out. That's why her teeth are rotting out of her head. Cocaine will do a number on your mouth and sinuses. Poor thing, really. Addiction is very powerful. It is so tough to beat. The recovery rate is sad at best. She needs plenty of support from good, honest people. But you can't make anyone quit drugs. They have to want it themselves to beat it. I hope she chooses the right path because the other one aint so sweet. Just look at Ozzy Osbourne. It was just too late by the time he quit using. He looks so old and frail for his age. But if he and other musicians can do it with all the temptation around them constantly SO CAN SHE!! I pray she gets the help she needs!

I know it seems cruel for the media to talk about her drug habits , but at the same time maybe she will see herself how we see her and will get help. It is hard to watch a young woman diminish like this. Her parents have been fighting so hard for her but until she decides to make a change there is nothing anyone can do. I know many people on here are upset that Perez is talking about Amy and many were upset when he spoke about Britney. But we must also realize that when Britney started to get her life back together Perez praised her. I am not even a fan of Britney Spears but I found myself very happy for her when she started to take back control of her life.
At the other end of the spectrum we say these women chose to be famous, so let them deal with it. When we are young we do not always understand the full implications of our desires and choices. Many don't realize fame may cause them to feel alienated from the world. I asked my dad (whom works at a ward for people who have had hiv/hepatitis/ cancer) and he says those sores on her face echo that of someone suffering from carposis sarcoma (a type of skin cancer). People who rapidly produce those sores may be suffering from aids or hiv (not all, but typically). I know its wrong to speculate, but something tells me this girls health is in dire straights . I hope its nothing that I have mentioned, but if this shit doesn't get straightend out- god only knows what'll happen to her.
