Our favorite Silver Spoon-er (sorry, Ricky Schroder) is doing good for himself.
Jason Bateman has scored a deal with 20th Century Fox TV to develop TV series, as well as produce and direct projects.
Does Bateman thank the stars every day for his career jolting stint on Arrested Development?!
The actor is diversifying and raking in the bucks!
"I'm an avid consumer of television, and I've got varying tastes," Bateman said. According to Variety, he also said he'd love to pattern his production banner after those of other actors who have successfully made the transition to producing, including his Arrested boss, Ron 'Opey' Howard.
We won't mind seeing more of Jason Bateman!

I loved him in "Silver Spoons" and especially "It's Your Move". Just NEVER mention "Teen Wolf Too"!! that was a total flop directed by his dad, Kent Bateman (also a film and television producer) and was no match to "Teen Wolf" which launched Michael J. Fox's movie career. Jason made a comeback in "The Sweetest Thing" alongside Cameron Diaz, then it was "Arrested Developement" and he's never looked back. Does anyone remember his older sister Justine Bateman? She played Michael J. Fox's sister Mallory in "Family Ties".
Arrested Development was one of the best shows ever! He was fantastic on it.

Arrested Developmenht was comic genious!! One of the BEST shows ever! Also, JB was awesome as Pepper Brooks in Dodgeball! He's so versatile.
