On Monday, they were amongst the first to be legally wed in California now that the state recognizes gay and lesbian marriages.

Disgrace. The voters of California voted to NOT allow this, and b/c of a few judges, the will of the voters was overturned.
Now, I know you are all going to jump on me saying I'm insensitive. But, forget about the fact that its about gay marriage.. what if it was some other issue that the voters had voiced their opinion on, and then was overturned by a few judges? Would that bother you? Seems a bit like the USSR to me.

Gays may be able to go to the courthouse and obtain a piece of paper stating they are legally married, but they will never be married in God's eyes or allowed to get married in a traditional house of God. It is not the same type of marriage most hetros have, and we will never allow them to take this away from us. What a wonderful Day. And to Daisy………………… keep your religion out of my politics! If you believe marriage should only be between a man and woman that is your prerogative. But you have no right to tell others how to believe. There is this little thing called SEPARATION of Church and State. PERIOD. If a certain church does not want to perform the ceremony that is their right. But if they do then more power to them. I come from a family with 7 aunts and uncles all who have been with their spouses since I was a child. One uncle has been in a loving caring relationship for 35 years with his partner and I consider his partner my uncle the same as all the other members of the family who married into it.
