I do support the troops. I pay substantial income taxes. My thoughts…don't invade countries for no reason if you don't have the resources to pay for it. Terrorism is a law enforcement issue, not a military issue. Where is Osama? LOL..SHEEP!
There's a difference in supporting the troops and supporting the war.

even if you don't support the war, you should at least feel sorry for the soldiers who have to fight it and then get injured.

I will gladly donate to this. Gladly, seeing that our government forgets of the wounded men who come back from war. It's not unusual to hear of these brave men to have their medical beneftis cut off…. I'm so ashamed of our government for treating men who fought bravely this way.
We have troops in other places besides Iraq. No matter how or where they are injured, they need support. Also, the government does pay for their health care, but a lot of VA hospitals are non-profits so they need outside help.
By the way, this cause isn't even for health care, it's a resource to help the families see their soldiers.

This is a wonderful cause. Thank you Perez for posting. Means a lot. With your support hopefully we can raise more money so more families can visit their loved ones at Walter Reed in Washington, DC. I realize the war is not popular, but our troops deserve our respect and support. Because of our troops we have a free nation.

My husband proudly serves and protects your right to have freedom of speech and you go and disrespect him and every other member of the Armed Forces by talking trash. You have no right to direspect my husband or any other service member. My husband is in Iraq serving a 15 month deployment for unappreciative jerk offs like you who call his service and sacrifice murder. As an army wife I can say that these sort of programs are necessary. In the midst of our second deployment, I realize how quickly our government loves to outfit our troops for war, but when it comes to those wounded, they quickly turn the other cheek.

I am a US. Solider and have never commited murder only served my country, sacrificed my safety, protected myself, and brothers. You have not right to call my service murder. Those of you who say this efforrt supports the war and that the gov has the money to fund these issues you are dead wrong. Military personnel are hard working, dedicated people, who go to work every day like anyone else to make a living. Unfortunately no one likes war and those who serve are the ones willing to give the US gov a blank check with their life on it to serve their country. Thankyou Ref79 for your service to our Country. My husband is currently serving a 9 month deployment in Afghanistan. And as for Jackass John, you should get down and kiss the feet of the men and women serving in the military so you don't have to. If you don't like the way we do things in this country, I will personally buy you a one way ticket out of here. You are not welcome. Oh, and it is mandatory to join the military for a certain period of time in other country's.

it is already patently obvious from your comments that you aren't that bright, but maybe you don't understand the legal system. I am a lawyer, so I will help you. When you are exonerated, or found not guilty for the less intelligent such as yourself, that means that in the eyes of justice you are not guilty of the crime you were charged with - which is what has happened for 7 of the 8 marines already. Furthermore, several of the originally 12 indicted had charges dropped. I am sorry if this conflicts with the trial that has already taken place in the liberal media, i.e. New York Times.
Thus, a more astute person would be able to rationalize that these men did not commit the crimes they were accused of… Hence, they are NOT the murders you wish they were… why don't you spend a little less time worrying about the people that wish you were dead and focus a little more on curbing your ignorance and hate speech about the men and women that protect you. God, I hope you don't have kids. You are a disgrace to America. The troops should use people like you as human shields.

Look man, it is NOT the troops fault that a madman declared the war. Our troops are ready to go fight for our country at the drop of a hat. They all know that they might not come back, that to me, is heorism. They arer eady to give their lives for our country, and unfortunately, that meant following the orders of Bush who had no clue what he was doing.
Don't insult them and their families by talking your shit. Many of them have payed for mistakes and lies with their lives and nonetheless they are heroes for dying for their country, a country that allowed for them to be sent to their untimely deaths. They are heroes.

I am a very proud Army Wife and am deeply offended by those of you who refered to my husband as a murderer, unjust, idiot, who should just get blown up. What a horrible thing to say in reference to the men and women who serve our country. Regardless of your views on the war there is no reason to disrespect our servicemembers who defend us and keep us safe. My husband is not spending 15 months in Iraq for him and my family to hear people disrespect him and our troops this way. You ought to be ashamed.
