Umm I kinda agree with him. Soulja Boy and Hurricane Chris and the likes of em aren't singing about anything solid… just silly little fluff. Early rap meant something it talked about gang and street life, drugs, social inequality. These new rap hits are all about getting girls talking about your peen being huge. So Ice T is rightfully pissed that rap had come such a long way to be socially accepted and now these ni-as are fucking it up cuz they want a big hit or a new dance craze.

I have to agree with Ice on this one. I grew up with people like KRS-One, Dre, Snoop, and even Biggie and Tupac who could write a song about partying it up but could also write with some real substance about the trials and tribulations of life.
And what he says about flow is SO TRUE. Rappers nowadays are just kids who can rhyme a couple of words together. No one has original flow. There's no artistry involved anymore. It's a sad state of affairs.
