The National Enquirer (take it for what it's worth) reports that doctors are preparing Jamie Lynn Spears for a C-section tomorrow, Thursday, due to complications in the pregnancy.
An ultrasound supposedly revealed that the younger Spears' baby may be in breech position.
Jamie Lynn and baby daddy Casey reportedly plan to name their baby girl a combination of both their names – Cailynn or Cassie.

We do wish Jamie Lynn a healthy delivery of the babe, though.

The National Enquirer! Now there's a reputable source for you. And if that baby were in danger there would be no waiting, they'd take it then. If it is breech, it's breech, it's not that unusual. Neither is a Csection. So what's the big deal. Babies with real problems are born everyday, ultimately safely. But whatever the case and the actual truth, God bless the baby and may it be healthy and well loved.

being breech isn't a big deal. the baby can still turn. hell, you can deliver breech. jesus.. i've had countless health problems since april, and they were talking about inducing me in may. here i am, one week from my due date, and he's still in there cooking. though, i'm not a child having a baby, so i can handle a bit of pain, i suppose.

If her DOCTOR feels that the delivery needs to be by C section, who are you to say it shouldn't be? I think her DOCTOR knows better than you. Just because you've been pregnant, doesn't make you an expert on pregnancy!

I do hope she has a healthy baby, but I doubt its really breeched. Didn't her crusty sister admit to scheduling a c-section because her mother told her not to go thru the pain. People nowadays just can't woman up and try to go natural. Its really not that bad, mind over matter bitches!!! I had 2 naturally, my mom had 11, yes heffas, 11. Mexican and Catholic! So your chocha isn't quite the same, but its worse to have a c-section.
jamie lynn is a great role model for accepting responsibility and doing the right thing even when it is unimaginably hard.
however, i think it is so obnoxious that celebrities insist on having a c-section (to protect their vaginas, of course) and delivering a month early (to protect against stretch marks and that much more extra skin). i applaud katie holmes and nicole richie for being selfless and doing the best and most natural thing for their babies.

I am a physician in Chicago…you really have to start asking why all of these "stars" are having C-Sections! Is it herpes? Or do they simply not want to stretch out their goodies? Why no natural births? You say that Jamie Lynn's baby 'may' be breech…honey, the diagnosis of breech is one of the easiest things we do.

The doctors know if your baby is in breech position - not "may be" in breech. Just another person having an unnecessary c-section rather than actually waiting for nature to take its course.

I hope the baby is fine, I think a lot of young people have problems with their first child though. She seems like a sweetheart, so does Britney [sometimes] I think we just think they're all wacky because of their parents. Jamie tries to stay out of the spotlight, I think she wants a normal life for her and her child it seems and that's great.

Having a Csection because the baby is breech is one thing, but I hate these cop-out celebs who schedule them for timing, or the fact that they dont want the scar, they're afraid of real deliveries, whatever.
To the morons who post about the pain of a C section delivery…you have a freakin spinal block and dont feel a damn thing. No, a C section is not more painful than a vaginal delivery you idiot. It might be worse afterwards having staples and stitches but its certainly the simpler way to deliver. Definitely the cop out way to have a baby if its not medically necessary.
She's probably just getting it because she's young and afraid to have a vaginal birth and all the hard work that comes with it!!

A baby is not delivered early due to being in breech position. The baby would have to be delivered by c-section, but she is probably at least 38 weeks along. And what is so "sick" about the names?
