She's Delivering on Thursday!

jamielynnspears.jpg

The National Enquirer (take it for what it's worth) reports that doctors are preparing Jamie Lynn Spears for a C-section tomorrow, Thursday, due to complications in the pregnancy.

An ultrasound supposedly revealed that the younger Spears' baby may be in breech position.

Jamie Lynn and baby daddy Casey reportedly plan to name their baby girl a combination of both their names – Cailynn or Cassie.

Sick!

We do wish Jamie Lynn a healthy delivery of the babe, though.

Can't wait to see the pics - in OK! magazine, we're sure!

I am so sick of these crunchy granola natural birth dirt munchers making comments as to what the "appropriate" way to give birth is. Give me a fucking break!

Newsflash people! Not every woman looks forward to the birth experience! Some women "gasp" would prefer a c-section! I know it may be a concept that is a bit odd to some people, but in a nation where women have the right to choose to stay pregnant or abort, we should also have a right to choose how we give birth, without getting flack for it. Self righteousness is not a pretty trait!!!

hey Jess, if you're not woman enough to push a kid out then you should have kept your slutty legs closed. C sections are for cowards.

oh look, another actress having a c-section… there must be some terrible epidemic in hollywood that causes all of the babies to breech! let's see, christina aguilara, britney spears 2x, angelina jolie, nicole richie, jennifer lopez, jessica alba, and i'm sure many more who didn't make the headlines :o poor, poor ladies… just imagine if they actually had to birth children like the rest of the population and tear their pretty little vaginas! what a travesty!

      124

What's wrong with scheduling a c-section, if you can? Who wants to go through labor if they don't have to and can get around it? I wouldn never have kids if a C-section weren't an option!

    25. 125

My name is Cailynn too! Good choice of name!!!

    26. justm says – reply to this

      126

I call bullshit on that, just because the baby is breach at the moment doesn't mean they would just do a c-sec. If she was in labor and the baby was breach than they probably would. She just picked the date she wanted to have it and wanted a c-section

Re: kayla – Good for your friend, but its still a nickname. Her mother must have liked the nickname, and not the full name. So lets say my mother named me just "Rach" that wouldn't mean that all of a sudden its no longer a shortned version of Rachael because it still is…. Doesn't matter she picked Maddie which is also a nickname.

Re: Kate_West – C-Section makes your stomach a lot worse than natural delivery. I wish I could've had a natural delivery with my twins (I was 22). Having a c-section is definitely not cosmetic. The 6 weeks it takes to heal afterwards is also a lot more work than the 48 hours of labor.

cause it's bad for the health of mom and more importantly the baby !!!
Baby's can't choose. The mothers should make the right decision fór the baby.

Actually for a breech baby it is pretty standard to plan a c-section (in the US, at least). It is debatable of course, as is everything, but the major reason is to avoid cord prolapse. That is when the umbilical cord slips into the birth canal before the baby. Then during labor, contractions push the baby, crushing the cord and cutting off blood supply, possibly leading to fetal demise. Many women, myself included, opt for the planned surgery rather than waiting for an emergency c-section during labor. Believe me, c-section is no copout! The recovery was much more painful and longer than it was after my vaginal delivery.

I hope the best for her.
When i first found out she was pregnant
i was astonished, I didn't think anything could be worse
in the spears family. I think this happend for a reason,
she got pregnant and it made brittany think about how
she has to be a true role model to her little sister and be there
for her in this tuff time. And now brittany is a lot better.
And i would have rather seen someone like
her with a child rather than someone that can't afford one.
So best of luck to her and her fiance!
