He performed this song in Amsterdam some months ago during his concert in the Melkweg. I was there! The footage in the video was also mostly shot in Amsterdam. I think it's a catchy tune. When I first heard it I didn't like it so much but I caught myself singing it 2 days later… so it grows on you!

I'm not surprised. Snoop will do anything to make money, he is officially part of "the establishment". He's also doing MTV commercials singing off key in Duetsche and wearing lederhosen for German and Austrian televison (it's so terrible!), but I'm sure that those spots will never see the light of day in the US.
