      Video games continue to evolve and its harder to d/l games for your console than music so that's probably why.

      Too much lip-synch, not enough singers. Finally, people have stopped paying all these non-talented, can't sing lippers for what they themselves can do in the mirror. There was a day when the ONLY lip-synch was on American Bandstand. Artist HAD to BE artist. This BS out here now is laughable and for the past 5 yrs I have not spent a dime of MY hard eaned money on BS.

      yes, but most video games feature songs, so the music industry is benefiting from that.

      sure, CD sales are down, but record labels are making more money than ever.

      You find more originality in video games than the music biz these days, so it figures. I love games!

      Take-Two estimates that on its first day, GTA IV sold 3.6 million copies and generated $310 million in sales, far surpassing Halo 3's performance.

      And the game kicks ass!

      I'm an avid gamer, and I'm proud to say that the Playstation 3 was the best purchase I've made so far this year. However, I'm sad to say that I've bought very few albums this year, despite having a vast collection of CDs and being a music lover. There's no originality out there right now. Everyone either sounds the same or has very poor lyrical content. Gaming is the way to go. It's like being part of a movie while listening to a great soundtrack and completing a challenge. Despite what some think, it's definitely not mindless entertainment.

      I haven't bought an album since Jay-Zs American Gangster, I buy games all the time though. Actually I download alot of songs for Rock Band so I guess that kind of counts as a music purchase.

      I have not purchased a single freaking CD in years because I can download everything sadly legally AND illegally. I see these people acting like assholes and it doesn't make me feel bad for them that they are losing money. Sorry they have to get the model just below the bentley rather then the bentley itself you spoiled freaking morons!!!

      I was packing for my business trip and my 3-year old daughter was having a wonderful time playing on the bed. At one point she said:”Daddy, look at this,” and stuck two of her fingers out.

      Trying to keep her entertained, I reached out and put her tiny fingers in my mouth and said, “Daddy’s gonna eat your fingers!” pretending to eat them before I rushed out of the room again.

      When I returned, my daughter was standing on the bed staring at her fingers with a devastated look on her face.

      I said, “What’s wrong, honey?”

      She replied, “What happened to my booger?”
