Researchers in Sweden have found that homosexuality can be spotted in the brain.

Scientist at the Karolinska Institute have spent time studying the scans of 90 straight and gay men and women. What they found was that the size of the two symmetrical halves of the brains of gay men resembled the brain of straight women.
In heterosexual women and gay men, the two halves of the brain are pretty much the same size. But in straight men, the right hemisphere is slightly larger.
And oddly enough, the brains of homosexual women were asymmetrical, just like those of straight men.
So, basically, it boils down to straight women and gay men have similar brain shapes. As do straight men and gay women.
Researches are still not certain what the differences in the brain shapes mean though.
Dr. Eric Vilain, professor of human genetics at UCLA says, "The big question has always been, if the brains of gay men are different, or feminized, as earlier research suggests then is it just limited to sexual preference or are there other regions that are gender atypical in gay males? For the first time, in this study it looks like there are regions of the brain not directly involved in sexuality that seem to be feminized in gay males."
He continues, "We know from studies that men, regardless of their sexual orientation, retain masculine characteristics when it comes to their sexual behavior. So I expect that some regions of the brain will remain masculine even in gay men."

These researchers are NOT scientists..they're PSEUDOSCIENTISTS…i took a course on this in University and we studied this topic. There are no significant brain correlations/differences between gay and straight people..homosexuality is merely based on social conditions, same with heterosexuality.

it actually does make sense that gay individuals would be born because many have similar traits which are developed in your brain. This is not a good thing. Eugenics anyone?? I still firmly believe sexuality is a social construction. The categories of homo and hetero are just that…categories. People are sexual beings and choose to satisfy that sexuality in different ways. Today we think that everyone is either homo, hetero or sometimes bi. But the reality is those categories are not mutually exclusive.

Actually that test has been done before in California… but this doesn't bring us any closer to figuring out homosexuality in humans. Also, the problem with this experiment are the type of homosexuals and the type of heterosexuals studied. Many homosexuals studied for studies like this are super flamers because their traits are more exaggerated than if they studied a gay male that appeared and acted in every way "straight".

Actually we studied this at our Canadian university in our psychology classes a few years back ago already. Nevertheless, still interesting and more people should become aware of it.

Does nobody realize that what your brain looks like is what you do to it yourself, teh more you learn the more folds your brain gets and vise versa. You may or may not be born with it, but if you choose one lifestyle over the other, your brain would then compensate for it.
People have to understand the consequences of using science to prove that being gay is biological. If scientists continue to look for a biological basis to homosexuality then chances are that when they find it the next thing they will start looking for is a cure. People do not need to be cured of homosexuality as it is certainly not some disease. We shouldn't care if it is biological or a choice, people need to just accept everyone for who they are and move on!!!
