Researchers in Sweden have found that homosexuality can be spotted in the brain.

Scientist at the Karolinska Institute have spent time studying the scans of 90 straight and gay men and women. What they found was that the size of the two symmetrical halves of the brains of gay men resembled the brain of straight women.
In heterosexual women and gay men, the two halves of the brain are pretty much the same size. But in straight men, the right hemisphere is slightly larger.
And oddly enough, the brains of homosexual women were asymmetrical, just like those of straight men.
So, basically, it boils down to straight women and gay men have similar brain shapes. As do straight men and gay women.
Researches are still not certain what the differences in the brain shapes mean though.
Dr. Eric Vilain, professor of human genetics at UCLA says, "The big question has always been, if the brains of gay men are different, or feminized, as earlier research suggests then is it just limited to sexual preference or are there other regions that are gender atypical in gay males? For the first time, in this study it looks like there are regions of the brain not directly involved in sexuality that seem to be feminized in gay males."
He continues, "We know from studies that men, regardless of their sexual orientation, retain masculine characteristics when it comes to their sexual behavior. So I expect that some regions of the brain will remain masculine even in gay men."

No. That is just a coincidence. You can put a bunch of things together and call it a pattern or try to make it seem like they actually have something to do with one another. People are NOT born gay because it is NOT traditional and NOT right…once again, marriage and partnerships are between men and women. You might be able to love somebody of the same sex, but it really is not the same thing. Most people end up calling themselves gay or lesbian because of childhood traumas or being neglected, and they want a chance to rebel or be different. But, really, it is just a phase, and sadly some people never come out of it, just wanting to be different. You can't possibly think that two males or two females having sex is right, it doesn't even work naturally! How are they supposed to have kids? I don't understand why people call conservatives "close minded" because obviously we've put a lot of thought into why being gay is wrong. How do you know that you're born with it? The brain could develop over time. You would need to start monitoring new born babies to see the size of their brains to determine if it truly is something you are born with or if it's a condition that develops over time. The findings of this are insubstantial to prove a true link between birth and homosexuality.

While I do believe that homosexuality is a natural, genetic form of sexuality and not a choice, I want to point out a few concerns with the study. The study cannot comment on whether the brain area size is caused by sexuality or whether sexuality causes the size of the brain area. It can merely state that brain size area and homosexuality are correlated. It should also be noted that this study was done previously when the AIDs scare had just emerged but 100% the homosexuals used in the study had died of AIDs complications and then were compared to heterosexuals that did not die of AIDs complications. Just saying, there could be other extraneous correlators besides homosexuality. Just because the study was done at a university doesnt mean it is the end all be all.
