Will Smith will probs be the undisputed #1 movie star in the world in a few weeks.
According to industry predictions, Smith's new flick, Hancock, (in theaters July 2nd) is destined for a $140-$150 million opening weekend, which would mark the 8th consecutive film for Will that would make $100 million or more at the box office!
No other actor has done that before!
Wills must be glad that the box office curse plaguing his good friend, Tom Cruise hasn't rubbed off on him!
We have to admit that we think Hancock's superhero needs rehab storyline is pretty clever.
Plus, funnyman Jason Bateman is in the flick.

100 million isn't really a lot these days considering that production costs often run the 100-200 price tag. Smith will probably make at least $30 million. He can afford to make only one movie a year. People like him or maybe miss him lol. Even his lackluster movies make big money. The production budget for I am Legend reportedly was over $200; that seems high considering the cost of of his other movies. I heard him speak on the Tavis Smiley show and he sounded like an ASS.. He claims his fame and success is ALL due to himself. He seems to have forgotten where he came from. Someone had to GIVE him an opportunity to be in movies. Maybe it's just his Scientology teaching that is filling his bubble head.

I think Will Smith is 1 of the best actors in Hollywood right now. He deserves anything good that comes to him. He can turn movies that usually don't interest me into 1 of my fave movies. Like Enemy of the State. I'm not really into action movies like that but somehow I think its 1 of the greatest movies he's done. I cannot WAIT to see Hancock. But I will wait until it comes out on OnDemand since movie tickets these days are ridiculously overpriced!
