Chinese Democracy Finally Out - By Accident!

NINE tracks from Guns N' Roses' long long long awaited new album, Chinese Democracy, were leaked online Wednesday on a website which quickly received a cease-and-desist letter from the band.
The album is said to be 14 years in the making.
Of the nine songs leaked, six of them have already leaked in one unfinished form or another. But the ones released yesterday seem to be close to the finished versions.
The album was originally on Interscope's release schedule in March 2007.
But later in March of this year, the band signed a new management deal with Irving Azoff and Andy Gould. That's when they began discussions with Interscope to release the album.
Work on the album originally began back in 1994 and since then Axl has spent $13 million in production. And also gotten rid of his orignal band members.
Apparently the soft drink Dr. Pepper, which is tied in with Interscope it seems, even offered to send a free can of soda to every person in America if Chinese Democracy arrived anytime in 2008.
Well, send a can to everyone except Guns N' Roses former members, Slash and Buckethead!

I heard some of the tracks too. Not bad really. It's a updated sound for them, but still rocking and rolling. But nothing that makes me want to buy the record.
I don't understand why it took so damn long. Axl is still crazy I guess.
The best memories are the summer of 88 when Appetite for Destruction ruled the world. every party you went to had that album blaring.

Appetite was the best ever! My 6 year old nephew discovered this in his fathers CD stash…the rock and roll face in his car seat is priceless!
Now this is a band that should rightfully be deemed has beens. Fourteen years to put an album together, they deserves no fans just for that.
I love Axl, and yes this album took a freakin long ass time to make…but he's the artist, and I truly believe that he just wanted it to be the best it could be… as for the old members, I WISH that Slash could reunite….atleast Slash! PLEASE

It's not that bad so far. Updated sound, nowhere near appetite for destruction or use your illusion but still entertaining. I will probably buy this when it comes out. look it up on bit torrent sites. that's how I got it.

Wow, I'm really excited to hear the new album, although to me it's not the same Guns N' Roses without Slash. I have to say I'm one of they're biggest fans but I feel like Slash and Axl need to sit down and make nice and get the REAL band back together. Buckethead could never replace Slash, I believe he isn't half the guitar player that Slash is. Viva la Slash!

I met slash in the valley when he was with his daughter, and the dude is fuckin cool..Axl on the other hand is fuckin gay.
The saddest part of all is that Tim Russert was waiting for this and he's not here to hear it. Why is Axl even going ahead with it now?

Axl did ruin Guns N' Roses, by being a diva. They could of been huge, like Aerosmith, or Bon Jovi. One of those bands that saw threw the 80s glam and 90s hair metal…but no thanks to Axl… it obviously never happened. Congrats to Slash and other band members who have moved on into other ventures and made it big!
been a fan of GnR since Appetite for Destruction. One of my favourite records still. Heard some of the new tracks when the new GnR had a concert in Norway. I actually think they sounded really good.
