Crackhead's Still Got A Job

Despite her recent arrest for drugs, it looks like Tatum O'Neal is returning to her role as Maggie on the FX series Rescue Me.

Do people actually watch that show???

At the time of her arrest earlier this month, O'Neal had already filmed two episodes for the fifth season of the show, which is expected to premiere in the spring of 2009.

Peter Tolan, the series co-creator says "We want to bring her back, and I haven't heard anything about why she wouldn't be available to us. It's a misdemeanor, so she's not going to do time, and nobody has said to us we can't insure her or anything like that. So I'm assuming she's available to us and it's 'business as usual.'"

Yea, unless she gets busted again for cocaine and taken to jail!

Tolan adds, "We've already started to do some stuff with her that hooks into the death [of one of the characters] and where that sends her."

Even if she returns, will U still watch?

Yes, I will still watch. The show was amazing way before she ever appeared as a recurring character. However, it wouldn't affect me whatsoever if she wasn't picked up for this season. The show is FANTASTIC. You should def. check it out Perez.

Mario, I happen to LOVE the show. It's one of the best on television. Give the woman a break, she has been in the spotlight since before she could even know what she was getting into.

Honestly, you should really go fix that Perez. A LOT of people watch and love that show. RESCUE ME was inspired by the challenges facing firefighters after 9/11. It's an important show. It's honest and it is extremely well written. The actors' performances are spectacular. Granted, Tatum is probably the weakest link in the show but it's worth watching for everyone else, namely Denis, Callie thorne and Steve Pasquale. You'd love it for a number of reasons but the icing on the cake for you would be all the hot guys. Don't bag on it and go set it straight with your viewership - SUPPORT GOOD SCRIPTED TELEVISION. We're being overrun by idiots.
