The Sun reports that Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat after she collapsed at home on Monday.
Amy was hospitalized last year after overdosing on crack.
The irregular heartbeat may be to blame for her recent fainting spell. And, of course, her cracked out way are likely the reason for the irregular heartbeat.
A doctor tells the paper, "Crack narrows blood vessels and raises pressure. It is toxic to the heart muscle, causing an irregular beat. A heart attack is one of the most common ways for the drug to kill."
Crazy.
We hope Wino realizes how lucky she is to be alive, despite her abusing ways.
The report also mentions that Ames' family are thinking of getting some court order of sorts to keep the songstress in the hospital.
Doctors are supposedly trying to wean her off heroin.

People who truely recover (notice I don't say recovering) from drug or alcohol addictions usually reach a tresh-hold where the negative effects of their addiction start to greatly out-weight the pleasurable feeling they may have from using. It is then that they truely make a complete recovery. Complete recovery can be done in as little of 5 minutes. It will only take as long as making up your mind to a life without addictions. You can make a complete recovery instantaniously if you are very serious and whole-hearted about being sober. Just remember, with very heavy alcohol intake, you should probably see your general practitioner first before quiting cold turkey. He/She will give you a very strong sedetive to ward off alcohol withdrawal. Any other drug such as herion, cocaine, etc, won't kill you, but you will be very uncompforable for several days.
excessive purgeing also leads to an irregular heartbeat, and she is a well known heavy BULIMIC, and in addition to her durg-abuse…DEATHLY…it is really a major issue and I bet that she has also done long-term damage to her body in every way…all that starving, puking, drugin', drinkin',smokin', wow…she really should never have children…btw I doubt that she is even able to have some…how could you live THAT close to the edge?? People have absolutely no idea who they are communicating with on the computer and who is reading their comments. Um… Irregular heartbeats are actually very common. I am not surprised at all to see that she has one considering the fact that she has admitted to having anorexia and bulimia as well as a drug problem Electrolyte imbalances from starving and purging cause irregular heartbeats. I guess blaming it all on drugs makes a better story? But yeah… there is nothing shocking about this story. It would be more shocking if she did NOT have a messed up heart after years of eating disorders and drug use.

Your issues such as drug addiction, a spouse in jail and health issues is news we need to know to make our lives look so much better.
