Sources tell us that Julia Roberts was nothing less than a "Major Bitch" on the red carpet during the premier of Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, Thursday in NYC.
Julia is an executive producer on the film.
It seems though that the former Pretty Woman had a major 'tude with the photographers.
She wouldn't remove her sunglasses, despite numerous request, and she wouldn't even pose by herself!
She kept posing with producer Lisa Gillian or with someone else by her side.
And, when asked for some solo shots, Roberts just walked away.
WTF?
Why camera shy all of a sudden, Julia?
Could you be hiding something????

this remind's me of the time it was raining like the dickin's and my rain gutter's were plugged up so I went out on the roof to stick a broom handle or what not down to clear them and to my surprise i stumbled upon a squirell nest full of egg's. not wanting to harm them,I took them inside and called my neighbor so he could loan me his pet anaconda to incubate them and in about six week's we had the cutest clutch of baby squirell's runnning around the house and the snake was a great mother to those squirell's. she let them nurse all the time, she would just lay there and let them suckle and she would groom them and lick them. It was the cutest thing you would ever see. well, gotta go. I have a rally to attend at the intersection of florence and normandie in los angeles because I think rodney king is about to get into some kind of trouble and I want to be there when it start's and then we will go over to my friend's house to feed his roller pidgeon's

i'm thinking she didn't want to make the walking of the red carpet about HER since she was only a producer and not in the movie. she probably wanted the best shots to be of the actual actors, which is selfless of her, i give her props:)
I think she was probable being gracious, without saying anything ('cuz you know how shoe would have burnnned up if she spoke).

Perhaps since she is not starring in this film, and is an executive producer, she wants to shine the light on someone else and show what a collaborative effort she felt the film was. I don't think she was being a beeotch. Maybe she was trying to be a little humble. I think it was nice.

Looking at the direction she is facing, it does look like a baby bump. But looks can be deceiving. All in all, Julia has been known for not liking media attention. Who knows…maybe being photographed by herself makes her feel vain? Some celebs don't like media attention, and I think she is one of them.

You're wrong. There ARE rules on the red carpet and every celeb knows them. The photogs are doing them a favor, those celebs want them there. Remember when they wouldn't take Goerge Clooney's pic on the carpet because he was trying to pass laws against the photogs. They all put their cameras down and it got his attention real quick. He stopped his battle with the photogs that very day and made up with them.

I have seen some pictures of her lately where she looks like she could be pregnant again, although she said in her interview with Oprah that she was done having children. The girl she is pictured with is her sister, I believe. She does a lot of cameos in Julia's movies and even did a cameo on the Friends episode that Julia was in. Julia is great…..back off!

For all of those of you saying that 'oh, she just doesn't want to take the spotlight away from the stars' or that she's just being humble. Bull. She's pretty much taken herself out of the spotlight by living in NM, so to get a pic of her is a big deal. As a producer of the film and knowing that people want to take pictures of her, she should be savvy enough to know that pictures of her would bring a bigger draw to the film. So she's either stupid and/or a total bitch. I'm placing my bets on both.
