Sometimes, it just takes A WHILE!

Dutch singer Anouk, a Perez fave, released her song Lost in 2004.

It did well in Holland and Anouk moved on.

Well, now the song is having a GLOBAL resurgence!

Last month, our twin won Noway's Got Talent and his rendition of the song helped Anouk's original version of Lost crack the Top 10 of the iTunes singles charts in Norway.

Now, the song was featured in So You Think You Can Dance in America and it's currently racing up the iTunes singles charts in the U.S. It's currently in the top 50!

So crazy!

The song is a very pretty ballad.

Re: Jenni – She tried hard to get her name out in the US, but decided to go back to Holland when things didn't work out for her! I don't like her music though, but it's sad that only artists from the american side of the ocean seem to get famous throughout the world!

If you ain't Dutch you ain't much! We knew for years that Anouk rocks! You should check out 'Nobody's Wife' and 'Sacrifice', some of her older (and better) songs!

Interresting fact:
She turned down an american contract years ago because they wanted to let her do stuff she didn't support (music-wise). negotiations became fights so back to Holland she went. nice to know she is getting there slowly with her own music. This is better than that overproduced non-musical mass shit (no names here) you constantly hear.
