We're still upset that The Wreckers are "on hiatus" - big mistake - but….
According to reports, music momma Michelle Branch is opening up a bakery called The Sugar Bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
Branch reportedly says that it's going to be an old-fashioned bakeshop and bar where you can have a drink and a slice of Bourbon Chocolate Cake after dinner.
Sounds good to us (on our cheat day)!
She goes on to say, "Besides music, one of my dreams has always been to open a bakery."
Branch plans to support local farmers by using their butter, milk, eggs and fruit.
The singer lives in Nashville now that she's gone country.
Hey, if the music thing doesn't work out, she's always got puff pastries!

Michelle Branch is one of those few talented musicians whose songs never get old.
I'd like her to sit on a cake and let me eat ALL of the natural flavors that ooze out of her. Sugar Bar. Her sweet aroma followed by that original nectar that flows down her thighs and legs like a lazy river. Her uncontrollable movements and her oven lips quivering for more attention. I move my fleshy thick meat spatula closer to her bakery oven and set the timer for two hours. .

I heart Michelle Branch. She was always more talented than the others that got famous around the same time - Britney, Christina and Jessica.

Michelle is so talented. I think she actually performs and plays for the love of music more than the fame. And diversifying is such a good idea. I like that she didn't do the seemingly required "Famous Person Restaurant" [think Pete Wentz] that everyone else does. Those restaurants almost always have really shite food.

Nashvillians HATE country! I am sick to death of all these washed up musicians and wannabe celebrities moving to Nashville to take advantage of a past tense country music industry! There is awesome music in Nashville that has NOTHING to do with twangy awful redneck country! Nashville is the third most culturally DIVERSE city in the US, second only to huge NYC and untouchably expensive San Francisco! It is more forward thinking and beautiful than Los Angeles or Austin and it has FAR more to offer than COUNTRY MUSIC!

Only tourists go downtown in Nashville, so clearly you are NOT a Native Nashvillian. It is the same as Native New Yorkers going to Times Square: THEY DONT!! I have lived here over 30 years and country has NOTHING to do with what is so exciting and culturally rich about this city. But I guess if you work in the music business, you would be worried about your bread and butter - ripping off rednecks in the midwest trying to con them into thinking that country music is a way of life here. I like Michelle Branch, her sensibilities make her very attractive, not to mention that her music is good. I do have all her albums and the Spirit Room still has that magic! I think what makes her music so good is of course what she puts into it, but also that she marches to the beat of her own drum! Most artists have no direction outside of what everybody else is doing.
i love the old michelle branch, her music breaks my heart. its soooo good. wreckers meh. country, no.
