Her father says he can't interfere with the law and that it is illegal to interfere with Amy or to put her in the hospital against her will. How is that possible?! If he goes to court, I am sure the courts will decide in his favor that Amy does not know what is in her best interest right now. Her father needs to stop making excuses for Amy, stop pretending everything is going to be okay, and COMMIT THIS GIRL TO LONG-TERM REHAB. F*** the idea of her getting better by playing music. When you are an addict, the drugs come first and nothing else matters. Amy doesn't give a damn about her music, her fans, her health, or her father. If it's been determined that she has 70% lung capacity and early emphysema and a doctor tells her to her face that her life is in danger if she continues on the same pace and she goes out and lights up, then it's time to give up.
