Thespian union the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) must be peeved!

Big name, super huge, A-list star Tom Hanks threw his weight behind the other actor's union, AFTRA, this weekend.

We've mentioned before that SAG and AFTRA failed to work together to cut a 'unified' actors deal with the media moguls.

AFTRA made a deal with the suits that's yet to be voted on by their members.

SAG's been trying to convince the nearly 40,000 actors who are in both unions not to accept the AFTRA deal cause they think they can get a 'better' deal'.

With Hanks on board with AFTRA, looks like SAGs job will be that much harder!

We just hope that the actors get what they deserve without a strike!!

      The big name actors that we all know, like Hanks, get paid insane money, but MOST of the actors in these unions are unknown talents who don't get those huge paychecks.
      That's who these unions and the negotiations are looking to protect.

      This better not happen. I understood why the writers went on strike, they deserved more, if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be getting any tv shows. Actors? I can sort of understand why SOME deserve more, but this is just going to cause more chaos then the writer's strike. They better make a deal fast.

      As I have said in the past, I absolutely love Tom Hanks. He's a great actor, and seems to be a great person, although, i have never met him. And for some reason he has a hold over me, and doesn't even know it. In four years when I turn 18, I'm going to marry him. Move over, Rita!
