Ya, I read this on Yeezys blog when he posted it a couple days ago.
While I normally dislike Soulja Boy for all the reasons Ice T stated, I actually didnt know a lot of what Ye said and it surprised me. And he's right even if I say I dont like Soulja Boy & what he represents, I do still rock the songs at parties & shit. Plus I am genuinely surprised to learn he made his own beats, let alone wrote his own lyrics.
So after some consideration I am switching sides to team Soulja Boy, but I still am not digging him disrespecting his elders of hip hop. Even if Ice T never was top of the game, he still broke boundaries with Cop Killa & that deserves respect from younger artists.
