According to reports, Brad and Angelina have sold their Louisiana home.
Did they need the bucks for the down payment on the huge chateau they picked up in France?

Brad used to own a home near my old home. It was the one where that hot stalker broke in and put on his clothes. I wish I had stalkers like that.
Where is Brad going to stay while rebuilding NO? He probably will abandon the project. Angie and Brad have now realized the bit off more than they could chew with the humanitarian effort. NO is still such a mess, anything they are capable of doing will just be a drop in the bucket and therefore not give them all the recongnition they were craving.

E! Online recently reported that the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sold their New Orleans home. The pair is currently in the South of France awaiting the birth of their twins. The Real Estalker Mama checked out the property records which show that the home is still owned by a trust controlled by Brad Pitt.
He'll be staying nowhere near New orleans ever again. He is done with that town. He got his PR and now he and his dumbass wife will move on to some other trendy issue so they look better than the average hollywood pretty face

For people touted as some of the "best parents in the world" it seems like uprooting children and having them live a nomadic life is going to have some effect on them down the road, whether a parent/parents are present with them all the time or not. I recently heard that they had contracted to buy a place in the same town as Mass. Governor Patrick in Massachusetts. Tons of money to buy and tons more to renovate, which has already started.
Re: Cait – Right! And all those pictures I saw of Brad and Angie and the kids perusing the French Quarter had me wondering what they were really doing there. I think Angie decided she liked the esthetic of them all walking around in the Quarter more than really doing it. I mean to walk around in the Quarter you gotta live in New Orleans, which presents a whole litany of it's own discomforts and inconveniences. But I seriously betcha that most of the people who really do live there took one look at the environmentally hip designs Brad had in mind for the Lower 9th Ward and had to suppress a laugh. First of all, most people with any clout at all in that city don't ever want to see development in the Lower 9th again. And if there is it's not gonna look like some grad-school project in enviro design. Not to mention that the 150 year-old Dutch cypress shotgun shacks where very cool to live in as long as they leave some trees for some shade. R.I.P. Lower 9th.

OK, here's it… The way the weather looks these days it could be a year away from another deluge of any part of southeast Louisiana, with the Lower 9th Ward being the lowest of any of it. Anything that's built there should be on 30-foot stilts to guarantee it stays dry. But, unfortunately if you ever were a kid growing up in a neighborhood below sea level you would never forget the feeling of how cool that was and so you would never want to think about it all being condemned and grown over forever.

Re: Cait – Yeah, it should really all be given back to Mother Nature as a buffer zone against future storms w/counter-clockwise flow pushing everything up from the east to protect the city. It's absolutely crazy to talk about re-building most of it now, NOW THAT WE CAN SEE THE FUTURE OF RISING SEA LEVELS. I live in Nola - wow I feel so abandoned now. Snicker. Please, why even sell it unless you are cutting all ties with the city? it's only a 3.5 million dollar property. I men in retrospect 3.5 in Manhattan would buy you a 900 sq foot average place. It's common folk pricing up there. 3.5 is nothing to either of these two. If it was sold it certainly wasn't for the cash.
The lower 9th ward pink/green whatever homes ARE a joke. I still have NO Idea what his intent is. To bring in hipsters to the area or to rebuild the 9th for it's original residents - who I CAN NOT see living in those ugly modern nothing to do with Nola home designs nor really affording them. Those were not affordable prices for the people who used to live there. 200,000 home maybe cheap real estate prices to much of the country but most nola residents can not afford that. If they could, they'd already be reseattled in just fine.

Good Grief Prez, the last thing they need to worry about is where they're going to stay when they visit Louisiana. The place in Paris is a long term LEASE, they are not buying the place. Brad doesn't need to be in Louisiana for the Make It Right Project all the time. He is ONE of many people involved in running the project. Unlike SOME celebs they are smart enough to know it's not worth owning a lot of property now when you're not living there. Because who needs more than one place to live? They probably got a pretty penny for it just for the fact that they lived there.
