Three-time World Cup winner Pele has been the victim of a robbery. The soccer legend was held up at gunpoint!
Thankfully, he was not harmed.
Pele, whose real name is Edison Arantes do Nascimento, was approached by a gang of 10 youths in Brazil last week and robbed while it was still daylight.
When Pele's chauffeur-driven car became stuck in a traffic jam in Guaruja, the gang proceeded to rob him of his cell phone, a gold necklace, and an expensive watch.
Reports state that other drivers and passengers were also robbed.
It seems that these road-side robberies are a common occurrence in certain areas of Brazil. Armed gangs create makeshift roadblocks, stopping traffic, and robbing helpless motorists.
That why the really really rich travel via helicopter in Brazil!

1- Brazil has a lot of violence, everywhere, in São Paulo, in Guarujá, in Santos, in Rio de Janeiro, everywhere … and that sucks ! but nobody knows what to do about it ´cause the problem is : in São Paulo, for exemple, we have abou 1 million people living a "good" life, where you can eat, go to school and get education and all of that … an we have more than 5 million people living in "favelas", were people don´t even have a worm bed to sleep at night, só … you do the math !!!
